Hi Julia!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! =) It’s nice to see a fellow Inkpopper on WordPress. I’ll put you on my RSS reader so I know when you post an entry. =)
Good luck to you too!
And hey, if you ever want to do a read swap, let me know. Your short story sounds like it’s right up my alley.

P.S.
I’m about to start a thread on Inkpop about Blog Chains. I thought you might be interested. =)
Hi Julia! I happened to see your profile and read your awesome book when I visited the site inkpop just now. I am an author, and I have a book posted on the website Authonomy (also run by HarperCollins, just like inkpop is). I was curious if I should post my book on inkpop too, when I noticed your posting about how the site was not working that well for you. After reading your post plus doing my own browsing of the site, it seems just like Authonomy, and so for now I will stick to the one site.
Anyways, I am Chinese (born in Canada). Are you Chinese too, but born in the US? You seemed like a great person, and because you too are a writer, I wanted to send this message to you to let you know that I believe in you and your awesome Til Kingdom Comes story. You are a phenomenal writer, especially considering you are still young. I am also young relative to other authors, but I never would have been able to write as well as you when I was your age. In fact, I am only barely getting “good”.
I also happened to see some of your artwork on your other site. That was very beautiful work! I also did lots of art growing up. Keep up the great artistry in all things: writing, painting, photos, etc.
Anyways, I just wanted to tell you to believe in yourself and your dreams Julia. Don’t ever give up ok? If you would like to read my book at the link I provided, please feel free to do so; I would be honoured! Please e-mail me too if you can, because it is always nice to talk with other writers, especially since we are both Asians and I truly believe that you and your book can become something great!
hi kevin! yeah, i mean, i loved the website and all, but the feedback i received there just wasn’t that great. i recently rejoined YWS (young writers society), but now i’m finding myself getting very few reviews. you just can never win haha. i think you’re making the right choice sticking with authonomy though; i glanced over the comments people leave and they’re a lot more resourceful and in-depth than anything i’ve ever gotten argh.
i’m actually korean haha but i was born in the states, yes. oh wow thank you so, so much! that’s awesome you went out of your way to read my WIP and your compliment is very much appreciated (:
thanks so much kevin i always welcome and appreciate a confidence boost haha. i’d love to check out your novel when i have the free time! since i’m not a registered member of authonomy i’ll leave my comment/review here or e-mail it to you.
thank you so very much again for your compliments and for the message! it’s great to meet new people here on wordpress (:
